Intiman Theatre presents

Cindy of Arc

Written and Performed by Cynthia Kaplan
Directed by Dani Davis

November 1-4, 2023

Erickson Theatre, 1524 Harvard Ave, Seattle, WA 98122

A comedy and music extravaganza about the problem men have with lying and where that’s gotten the rest of us, particularly women. And Jews. Starring writer and performer Cynthia Kaplan, Cindy of Arc speaks truth to politics, religion, Nazis, dogs, and the guys who wrote Delta Dawn, all in a blisteringly hilarious 70 minutes. Select performances will benefit local women’s and reproductive rights organizations.

"If you're lucky, Kaplan will sing and play guitar, and then you'll laugh until you can't breathe." —Time Out NY

"Cindy of Arc is amazing. The band is so hot. You are going to have a ball. Cynthia Kaplan is a genius."
—Comedian Judy Gold.
"Cynthia Kaplan has always made me laugh. No small feat."
—Comedian Lewis Black

She is the proud Chair of the 100+ member Congressional Progressive Caucus and also serves on several key committees, including the House Judiciary Committee (where she is the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement) and on the House Committee on Education and the Workforce. She has spent over 20 years leading organizing and advocacy efforts for women’s and immigrant rights and racial and economic justice.
